We’ve been working on some arena concepts lately. This will be our first one centered around ‘Terra.’ We decided to concept a good chunk of the area out of the playable area due to discussions about wanting to change the camera angles, or do establishing shots on Arenas to give them more life.

It’s a little overkill, but we want these arenas to have a lot of personality and feel alive. After a few passes we chose to desaturate the overall tones to allow the characters to pop off the background.

We’ve got a lot of animation progress going on as we move into prototyping animation pipelines. More updates coming soon!
